As our community continues to experience the symptoms of Covid, we thought it was appropriate to make sure that we communicated with you our conversations and give you updates.

Due to the increased reported cases to our church directly and in our community, we have been in contact with the Health Department. They have identified us as a place that has experienced a rise in activity along with our community. Their recommendation was to be cautious about attending gatherings for the next 14 days, however, we are giving opportunity for these groups to join us in the sanctuary for our livestream services:

  • Those who have been medically cleared from previous illness
  • Those who are well, without a temperature, and have not knowingly been in contact with someone who has been ill in the last 14 days.
  • Those who feel they are not in a high-risk health category and are comfortable to do so.

We continue to not be afraid or frustrated by recent developments in our area, but we also value wisdom and prudence in these matters. As we monitor things in our church and community, we will continue to have our church professionally cleaned. We will also have to update our Missions Conference Schedule and church schedule to make adjustments for current health concerns. You will see those updates to schedules and events on our Facebook page or website.

We will continue to monitor changes and give you updates as needed. Please continue to pray for the health of our community both physically and spiritually. We know that God is at work through these times.

We continue to recommend the following:

  • If you are feeling ill or running a temperature of 100.4 or greater, please enjoy the services from home.
  • If you are in a high-risk category, please consider watching at home via livestream.
  • Per the governor's orders, please wear a face covering when unable to maintain social distancing within any of our buildings. (Unless you have a health condition which makes this difficult or for those under the age of 9 years old.)
  • Please make use of the hand sanitizing stations located in our facilities.
