Paid Time Off Policies

For salary employees (Hourly employees should check with their manager for other information)

  • Fill out the appropriate form for your time off requests/flex day requests.

  • Your paid time off days does not count against your regular day off. These days are used in addition to your regular weekly day off. You may switch your off day to accompany your paid time off day(s) by noting it as a separate request under the Flex Time Request Form.

  • Your paid time off days do not include the following paid Holidays:

    • Memorial Day - 1 Day

    • Independence Day - 1 Day (To be taken only July 4 and cannot be a floating holiday)

    • Labor Day - 1 Day

    • Thanksgiving/Post Friday - 2 Days (Everyone works Monday through Wednesday at Noon; however, paid time off days may be used for these work days [If you take Wednesday off, it counts as a whole day off]. Your paid time off days are in addition to these paid Holidays.)

    • Christmas & New Years - Your paid time off days do not include the Christmas Holiday week from Christmas day through New Years Day. These paid time off days are in addition to the paid Holiday break. During these days, you can work from home/remotely or complete tasks as needed. Do what you need to do as long as you're accessable if something should arise that needs to be taken care of. If you're leaving town, please let pastor or your manager know/note that on the TeamUp calendar.

  • Flex Time: On a rare occasion, situations may arise that cause you to need to work during times that you are normally off. Additionally, you may need to change your work days around to accomodate a personal/home need. While this should not be a normative procedure, you can fill out the Flex Time Request form and update the calendar to include the dates that are being changed. (Sundays cannot be used in flex time) These flex days must be within 10 days of the date +/- to make adjustments to your work flow.

  • Staff members can take off 2 Sundays a year. (Staff members with 20+ years of full time tenure can take off 4 Sundays a year)

  • Other Notes:

    • Hourly employees will only fill out the Flex Time Request Form

    • Any deviations from this policy must be approved by your manager or pastor.
